Actualise Psychology

At times, life circumstances, problematic patterns, and personal challenges can feel insurmountable. Somewhere along the way feeling stuck, lost, agitated, or unravelled became the norm. Lacking purpose or meaning in a monochrome existence can seem inescapable.

At Actualise Psychology we believe in living beyond parameters, accessing possibilities, and achieving sustainable change, to unveil the best versions of ourselves. We support our clients to negotiate life challenges, give conscious awareness to problematic patterns, and innovate creative pathways to a renewed, colourful existence.

And I have learned to live, as it were, with the idea that I will never find peace and happiness, either. But as long as I know there's a pretty good chance I can get my hands on either one of them every once in a while, I do the best I can between high spots.” ― Hunter S. Thompson, The Great Shark Hunt: Strange Tales from a Strange Time 1979.

For those referred under schemes including ADF, DVA, or SIRA (previously Workcover NSW), payment will be obtained via these schemes, and you will not be required to pay for services covered via those schemes.

Cancellation Policy

If for some reason you need to cancel or postpone your appointment, please provide more than 24 hours notice, otherwise you may be charged for the full the cost for the session. This is in order to ensure Actualise Psychology is able to reduce patient waiting times, and also respects the time your psychologist has made available to you.

Medicare rebates are available for psychological treatment by registered clinical psychologists under the Australian Government's Better Access to Mental Health Care initiative. To access Medicare rebates, you must be referred by your GP, or your psychiatrist. Your GP will need to complete a detailed mental health assessment and prepare a Mental Health Treatment Plan before referring you to a psychologist. If you have been referred under a MHCP you may be eligible for a Medicare rebate (currently $124.50). Medicare rebates are available for up to 10 individual psychological sessions in a calendar year (January through to December).

Once you have this, simply advise of your intention to complete services via SIRA at the time of making your initial appointment.
